JKCPJ have curated the Videos Editing, Graphic Designing and content writing Course to hone the skill of Youth in valley

➢ The Lesson kickstarted with a brief introduction to the Basics of Designing.
➢ Mr. Priyanshu Singh gave participants his understanding of Designing, types, why is it used,
Skills required, Marketing designing, the software required, and Canva. It can be better
described as under.
➢ He discussed, Design is like making something look pretty or interesting. It’s like when you
color a picture or build a block tower. You get to pick the colors and shapes and arrange them
in a way that you think looks good. He discussed the following types of design.
a) Graphic Design: – This type of design is used to create visual materials such as logos,
brochures, posters, and websites.
b) Industrial Design: – This type of design is used to create physical products such as cars,
appliances, and furniture.
c) Interior Design:- This type is used to create functional and visually pleasing
d) Fashion Design: – This type of design is used to create clothing and accessories.
e) Web Design: – This type of design is used to create websites and mobile applications.
f) Product Design:- This type of design is used to design and develop new products.
➢ Design is used for different reasons such as branding, marketing, functionality, expression,
and problem-solving, depending on the company, brand, or individual using it.
➢ The following Skills used for designing were also discussed by Priyanshi Singh and can be
better described under the following headings
a) Technical skills:-Depending on the type of design, specific software and equipment may be
required. For example, graphic designers might use Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and
InDesign.
b) Creativity:- Designers must be able to come up with new and original ideas and have a good
eye for aesthetics and composition. We can experience the work of others through different
sources like Pinterest.
c) Problem-Solving:- Designers must be able to identify problems and come up with solutions,
whether that means creating a new product or rebranding a company.
d) Communication:- Designers must be able to communicate their ideas effectively, both
verbally and in written form, as well as present their work to clients and other stakeholders.
e) Time Management:- Designers often work on multiple projects at once and need to be able
to manage their time effectively to meet deadlines.
f) Adaptability: Designers must be able to adapt to new technologies and design trends, and be
open to ffeedback and new ideas.
➢ Marketing design was also discussed by Priyanshi in today’s session. It is used design
techniques and elements to create visual materials that promote a product or service. This can
include a wide range of materials such as logos, brochures, billboards, packaging, social media
graphics, email marketing and website design, posters, websites, and landing pages.
➢ The maximum features of canvas were discussed by Mr. Priyanshi Singh in today’s session.
➢ Some of the software programs that are commonly used in marketing design include Adobe
creative suite, Sketch, Canva, Figma, and Abode premiere pro were also discussed in today’s
lesson
➢ Some video editing websites were suggested by Mr. Priyanka in today’s lesson which
includes PNGwing.com
➢ Remove.BG website was suggested for removing the background of the picture.
➢ Homework: – It was highlighted different brands use different designs and every design is
having Deep psychology behind it. Work was assigned to have a keen look at the Zomato
website. Zamato’s website has different designs that carry different colors having different
psychology on every design.
➢ In a week everybody has to come up with the three best posters. Based on the performance
2 interns will be hired after reviewing posters.
